to the terms of this Agreement, do not open the package, download
or use the PROGRAM.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE. You may use this PROGRAM to determine the
capabilities of your computer and applicability of other software
packages to your computer. You may freely copy or electronically
transmit this PROGRAM to others as long as: A) the copies are not
altered in any fashion; B) HTI's copyright notice is included; C)
this License Agreement is distributed with each copy; and D) all
users of the copies agree to abide by the terms of this License
Agreement.
2. RESTRICTIONS. You may not lease or sell the PROGRAM in whole
or in part, or use it to operate a service bureau. You may not
reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to
discover the source or structural framework of the licensed
material in this PROGRAM. The data generated by this PROGRAM may

destroying all copies of the PROGRAM or returning it to HTI.
This License Agreement shall terminate automatically upon your
breach of any obligation herein.
5. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES. To the maximum extent permitted
by law: A) the PROGRAM is provided "as is" without warranty of
any kind; B) HTI and its suppliers disclaim all warranties,
either express or implied, including, but not limited to implied
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose, with regard to the PROGRAM; C) the entire risk arising
out of the use or performance of the PROGRAM and any copy remains
with the end user; and D) in no event shall HTI or its suppliers
be liable for any damages whatsoever (including without
limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business
interruption, loss of business information, or any other

Agreement, please contact HTI Customer Service, 3990 Ruffin Road,

The Interactive Multimedia Association's CD MATCH program probes
your computer system to determine and then display your computer's
available resources. The results can then be compared with the
Uniform Label appearing on software boxes to help you establish
whether new software will run correctly on your system.

HOW TO RUN CD MATCH:
=====================
**Windows CD MATCH instructions**
A single executible supports the following localized versions of
Windows; English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
To run CD MATCH under Windows
Windows 3.1x -- From the Program Manager, choose FILE-RUN and
enter x:\CDMATCH\CDMATCH where x: represents the CD-ROM drive
that contains CD MATCH files.
Windows 95 -- From the Windows Desktop Taskbar choose
START-RUN and enter x:\CDMATCH\CDMATCH where x: represents the
CD-ROM drive that contains the CD MATCH files.
Known limitations:
1. You may encounter screen refresh and desktop painting problems
with Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 video cards with a Video Bios
earlier than 3.0. CD MATCH is compatible with Video Bios
version 3.0 and version 7.0 drivers.
2. If you have a ProAudio Spectrum 16 board installed under a
Windows 95, CD MATCH will rate your system as having 8 bit sound
if the board's DMA is set to 1 or 3, because Windows 95 reserves
these interrupts for 8 bit sound. If the board is set to
interrupts 5, 6 or 7, CD MATCH will identify the board as a 16
bit board.
